About MainStreet Miracle

Brad Barton

Hello, my name is Brad Barton. I created Mainstreet Miracle after decades of interest and study in subjects ranging from eastern philosophy to the law of attraction to engineering. Although I grew up in a Catholic family, I was always curious to the point of getting into trouble. I bought a copy of Lao Tsu’s Tao Te Ching, which is often regarded as one of the oldest and most profound texts of Chinese wisdom, in 1972. I was a junior in high school.

About the same time in 1972, I began working with a rock band, mixing the audio. I toured with band for three years before transitioning to studio engineering. In case you are wondering, yes, I graduated from high school. In fact, I had more than enough credits to graduate a full semester before nearly everyone else in my class.

My interest in spiritualism, subtle energy, and the mechanics of engineering were and are core interests. I wasn’t interested because I was troubled or trying to solve a problem, I was interested simply because I wanted to know.

Those humble beginnings grew into decades of relatively intense study. I read Joseph Murphy and Neville Goddard before anyone could listen on YouTube. I didn’t pay much attention to the “motivational” type speakers that arose in the 1970’s and 80’s. Somehow, I missed the curiosity for the attraction to “motivation” as a goal. I had been motivated for decades. To me, motivation was a vehicle, not the destination.

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.
