Hello, my name is Brad Barton. I created Mainstreet Miracle after decades of interest and study in subjects ranging from eastern philosophy to the law of attraction to engineering. Although I grew up in a Catholic family, I was always curious to the point of getting into trouble. I bought a copy of Lao Tsu’s Tao Te Ching, which is often regarded as one of the oldest and most profound texts of Chinese wisdom, in 1972. I was a junior in high school.
About the same time in 1972, I began working with a rock band, mixing the audio. I toured with band for three years before transitioning to studio engineering. In case you are wondering, yes, I graduated from high school. In fact, I had more than enough credits to graduate a full semester before nearly everyone else in my class.
My interest in spiritualism, subtle energy, and the mechanics of engineering were and are core interests. I wasn’t interested because I was troubled or trying to solve a problem, I was interested simply because I wanted to know.
Those humble beginnings grew into decades of relatively intense study. I read Joseph Murphy and Neville Goddard before anyone could listen on YouTube. I didn’t pay much attention to the “motivational” type speakers that arose in the 1970’s and 80’s. Somehow, I missed the curiosity for the attraction to “motivation” as a goal. I had been motivated for decades. To me, motivation was a vehicle, not the destination.
My interest in the knobs and switches of audio engineering grew into computers in the 1980’s. My first computer, a Commodore VIC-20 was purchased in 1981. As technology rapidly evolved, I bought the pieces and began building every new variety for my personal use and experimentation. In 1999 and 2000 I certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and turned my intuitive electronics skills into a decades long career. If this was the end of my story, many people would think it would be enough. In a sense, it was only the acceleration of the beginning.
The Internet and YouTube brought a renaissance to spiritualism, subtle energy, wave length / frequency, and information in general. Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, have created content to help mankind expand his or her concept of him or her self. Without them, much of the planet would still be in the information dark ages. The Internet and YouTube allowed me to continue cramming knowledge into my consciousness through the 2010’s, while I was also busy with work I enjoyed. When Covid shut down and locked up the planet, I had constant, unrestricted use of the empty freeways and city because I was one of the people entrusted to keep the digital world working. I was never vaccinated, but based upon an antibody test in August 2020, I had 20 times the antibodies necessary to prevent susceptibility to Covid. Possibly because of the lives I observed that were impacted due to Covid, I became interested in using my knowledge to help others. In many ways, I was an encyclopedia of all things subtle energy and the Law of Attraction, but what use was the information alone?
I don’t quite understand it, but I didn’t run across the subject of Radionics until the summer of 2023
